What to wear!If you are an airsoft beginner, and pondering on what to wear to your first game, then there are a few things to think about. During the game, you are active, running, squatting, hiding out, rolling to shelter, doing whatever it takes to take cover and avoid elimination from the opposition. For your first game, we recommend comfortable, moveable and breathable pants to move about in, a long sleeve top and even a hoodie to add a little padding and warmth, but still keep it movable. Yorkshire Tactical Activities sites are based outdoors in the cold Yorkshire air, so consider the cold in the atmosphere and maybe enter the game in layers that can be removed when you work up a sweat as you get moving. As you are moving about in forests and muddy land, you will need comfortable shoes you can be active in and that will support your feet, as well as shoes that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty in the mud. |

Body SafetyIt’s no secret that airsoft can be a bit painful, but this factor usually is based on your own pain tolerance and your protective bodily gear, either way, you will still feel a hit! If you are wearing less protective gear, the airsoft shot will feel like a tight pinch or a quick bee sting. However, if you are more padded up you will feel a hard poke but the stinging element may be lessened. Here at YTA, safety is our number one priority! All of our airsoft games are monitored with a high level of health and safety. For all soldiers, we provide a range of tactical gear, including a full protective mask, all of our weapons are checked after each game to ensure there are no live rounds in the chamber, our safety zones are a NO dry firing zone, every game begins with a full health and safety briefs and fully first aid trained marshalls.
