YTA GOTCHA PAINTBALL WAIVER

“YTA Paintball treats the Health and Safety of all participants as a priority. As with any sport/leisure activity there are hazards associated with paintball. It is important for the safety of everyone taking part that each participant is acquainted with those hazards and individually takes all relevant action to minimise those hazards as much as possible.

” I understand that:

  1. Paintballing is physically and mentally intense and may require extreme exertion to play. I have chosen to take part in an event and activity. By doing so this is at my own risk.

  2. The possibility of injury to myself and others does exist.

  3. The playing area has varying terrain and may be slippery and have many trip hazards.

  4. There is the possibility of fallen tree debris.

  5. Goggles must always be worn, unless instructed by a marshal (unless in the Safe Area)

  6. Paintballs can cause bruising and/or cut the skin.

  7. Pyrotechnics omitting loud noises and/or bright light are used during games.

  8. No markers/guns are allowed in the safe area.

  9. No physical contact is allowed between participants.

  10. Cars are parked in the car park at owner’s own risk.

  11. YTA will not accept responsibility for valuables lost or damaged on the paintball site.

I confirm and agree that:

  1. I am physically fit and mentally able to take the strain and exertion involved in playing paintball.

  2. I confirm that by signing this waiver I am old enough to take part in the gotcha paintball activity. (Minimum age 8 yrs.)

  3. I have no medical condition that would prevent me from playing. (Please make the game manager aware if you use an inhaler or any other medical aid)

  4. I am fully aware of the risk to myself, and others involved in paintballing and that I will never under any circumstances deliberately shoot anyone in the face, head, or neck.

  5. I will wear goggles and not remove them whilst in the playing area. (This includes all areas except the safe area)

  6. I will comply with the rules and use all equipment as instructed and not to injure or hurt others.

  7. I will obey all instructions from the game manager/site marshals.

  8. I will not shoot another player within 25 feet/8mts

  9. I will only use pyrotechnics as instructed by the game manager and in accordance with the manufacturers printed instructions on the pyrotechnic. I will endeavour not to throw a pyrotechnic device within 15 metres of another players (minimum age 18 years)

  10. I will pay any charges incurred before leaving the site.

  11. I also agree to pay any administration charges, which might occur because of cheques being returned, or credit card payments being declined.

  12. I will only use paintballs supplied by YORKSHIRE TACTICAL ACTIVITIES I have read and fully understood this agreement.

  13. Parent's, Guardians, or organisers are to sign for players in your charge who are under the age 16. You have understood the safety brief and rules.

 

 

 

I understand and agree that any photos or videos may be taken during the activity. These may be used on social media or other marketing material All photos and videos remain the property of YTA.

I am aware that by signing this agreement I acknowledge and accept the inherent risk of injury that paintball entails. I have listened to and understood the safety briefing Please print clearly and in CAPITALS.
